The affordable housing development on the Stratford Fairgrounds was initiated as part of the City’s Housing and Homelessness Plan.
Phase one of the development (pictured) was completed in 2019, and includes 35 units.The two-storey wood-framed apartment building is geared toward seniors and young families. These rental apartments have been designed to resemble townhomes, in order to help the development blend in with the surrounding neighbourhood.
Phase two, a 20-storey apartment building, was completed in 2023.
Designed with accessibility at the top of mind, this project offers a number of barrier-free units, and accessible outdoor amenity space for residents.
